The Taj Mahal is situated at Agra on the right bank of the Jamuna. It is a beautiful tomb built by the Moghal Emperor, Shah Jahan. It is a very fine building in the midst of a beautiful garden. Emperor Shah Jahan built many  magnificent buildings. After the death of his beloved Queen Mumtaz, Shah Jahan got this monument built for her. Twenty Thousand workmen worked for twenty year to build this wonderful tomb. It is built of Marbles. Several crores of rupees were spent for it. It is the most beautiful tomb in the whole world and so it is counted as one of the seven wonders of the Middle Ages.  
The Ganges is one of the most important rivers of the world. In India, it is one of the biggest rivers. It is so useful that the Hindus consider it as a sacred one. The Ganges rises from the Gangotri mountains in Himalayas. Several rivers meet it in the Ganges. It flows for more than a hundred miles. It enters the plain at Hardwar as a migty river. There are many big cities on the Ganges and its tributaries. Allahabad, Banaras etc. are ancient towns. Kanpur, Calcutta etc. are modern industrial towns. The Ganges is  a very useful river. So it is so much respected by the Hindus. They consider its water holy and prefer to die near it.
The parrot is a common and favourite bird. It is found in all the warm countries of the world. It is caught in traps on in its nests and kepts as a pet. There are various kinds of Parrots. The African are grey. Indian Parrots are often greenish yellow in colour, But hilly parrots are often green. Their colour is like that of vegetation and so they remain hidden unnoticed by the enemy. The Parrot looks very beautiful. It has a long round tail. It has sharp claws and fleshy tongue.  
Tea is now a days a common drink in India. It is produced with the leaf of a plant. It is an evergreen wild plant and in plantations it is grown to a height of not more that 10 feet. The plant requires hot and moist climate. It grows well in light soil. The rainfall must be well distributed all through the year, but the water should not be collected at the roots. So, a slopy nature of the ground is suitable for the cultivation of tea. It is chiefly grown on the hill slopes of india, China, Japan. It was first introduced in China, so it called ‘Chai’ in India.
