Lying on a blanket beneath the night sky, Leo pointed up and whispered "Can you imagine how far that star is?". His best friend, Aria, followed his finger to a faint flickering dot, "They say some of the stars we see are already dead. We're just catching their light late," she said softly. Next to them, Max, the curious one in the group, added, "It's like looking into the past. The universe is a giant time machine, in a way." The three friends stared upward, awed by the silence above and the vastness that seemed endless.

"I read once that there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth," Aria continued in her voice dreamy. "Isn't that wild? It makes me feel so small... but kind of magical too." Leo chuckled. "Small? I feel like a speck on a speck, spinning through nothing." Max sat up, brushing grass from his hoodie. "But that's the crazy part, right? We're just tiny beings on this floating rock, and somehow we can still wonder about black holes, distant galaxies, and maybe even other life". A meteor streaked across the sky, and all three gasped, their thoughts briefly interrupted by a flash of burning beauty.

The universe didn't answer their questions, but it didn't need to. In the quiet, beneath billions of stars, Leo, Aria, and Max found something close to peace. Maybe the universe was vast, cold, and mysterious--but in that moment, it felt like it had made room just for them.
