I am currently 18 year's old and just gave the medical college entrance test . Got a good score but due to paper leaks , my rank was UNEXPECTED! ; and the government in my country is corrupt ~~~ so yeahh! no justice was served and the admissions have begun, and I am in a tight situation. I can only secure seats in private institutions which costs a hand and a leg, but if I get a college in my City , then it is pretty affordable. but that's the problem. Nothing is certain here . I may or MAYNOT get a college in my city but I am definitely getting a college in the private institution , BUT I don't want to go there !. And to top it off the admissions take place online , and it various rounds ; which takes at least 4 months ! AND all I can do is sit at home, Anxiously waiting for an update . My father did suggest me to take a drop year 'cause this entrance exam happens only once in a year. Which is a good idea BUTTT ...its already October and the exam is scheduled to happen in the month of May , next year. So that leaves me with only 7-6 months to study ...BUTT I can do it and I know it! but my father said quote, "what guarantee do u give me that you will definitely score more next year....u can't waste another year!" OFC I know that BUTT I would really appreciate some belief and trust in me . I could take admission in private institutions but I don't wanna be a brat to make my father invest a large sum of his hard earned money in my education. Its a mental pressure of guilt for me and a big decision for him. So I am okay with burning the night candle for another 7 months to get in a college with lower fees . But I am worried , 'cause the paper leaks might happen next year too which might make the situation even worse AND I don't wanna regret . For now , I hope for the best !! fingers crossed!!!! Everything turns out to be great in the end ,right? I can only say that now ...But no one knows the future and I am sure ..I am really sure...I'll make it in the end ,NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS !!!! Thank you for listening to my rant!! (@kiki)
