One can understand that all this is happening with the consent of Sonia Gandhi, who became interim president even after Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi said that the new president will be from outside the family. Three years have passed, but the Congress has not been able to select or elect its new president. There are good reasons to believe that instead of doing so, it wants to make Rahul Gandhi the president again. Undoubtedly, the Gandhi family was once the strength of the Congress, but now it has become a burden for it. The Gandhi family is behaving as if it has been forcibly removed from power at the Center.
