What conclusion has the Election Commission reached in the case of misuse of power by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be known only when the Governor announces his decision. Whatever the decision, there is no doubt that Hemant Soren violated the Representation of the People Act by allocating a mining lease in his name as Mining Minister and Chief Minister. This is also proved by the fact that he returned the lease after a complaint and investigation of this matter. It is difficult to understand that when he was allocating a mining lease in his name, why did the concerned officials not tell him that this was improper and illegal? There should be no place in the administration for such officers who, instead of discharging their responsibilities properly, prefer to agree with the leaders and be a partner in their wrongdoings. If Hemant Soren may have to leave the post of Chief Minister due to the decision of the Election Commission, then this will not be a new thing, because earlier also the membership of MLAs and MPs has been lost due to misuse of power. While waiting for the Governor's decision, the question is not only what will happen to Hemant Soren, but also whether the coalition government led by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha will survive or go? This question is on the surface because Hemant Soren and the leaders of the parties in his government are busy raising the allegation that the BJP is trying to form its own government by breaking the MLAs of the ruling coalition. To give a serious form to this allegation, the MLAs are being taken elsewhere. If the coalition is united, then what is the need for this? Splits in political parties are not a new thing, but it cannot be ignored that to cover up its mistakes and contradictions, it has become fashionable to make such allegations that the BJP is engaged in toppling the governments of the opposition parties by deceit and force. Whichever state government gets into some crisis due to its own actions, it starts making such allegations.
