Gulliver was a seaman. He liked to have adventure, so he used to set out on long sea voyages. One day when he was sailing in his ship along with the Crew, a storm came and his ship was wrecked. The ship sank into the sea, and nothing was known about the crew. Gulliver swam to save his life, but he did not know which direction to go. Luckily he got hold of a wooden plank, so he sat on it and tried to row it in one direction over many days and nights. He was hungry and still more he was tired. So when he saw a deserted becah, he rowed his plank towards it, and on reaching the beach, the first thing he did was to lie down and fall asleep. Gulliver did not know how long he slept, and when he tried to sit up, he found that he was not able to do so. He looked around. He saw that all his limbs were securely tied to the ground. He saw that he ws being held prisoner by some very tiny people, just six inches high. Gulliver closed his eyes and thought for a while what he should do. Just then, the tiny man standing on his chest pushed his tiny lance right into his nostril and moved it here and there. It was so ticklish that he sneezed, and with the flow of air, that man flew away. All those tiny people standing around him dispersed away in flight. A little later, the less timid people approached Gulliver again. They rested their ladders against his side.
