Hardware Hardware refers to the tangible components of the computer which can be touched. They include input, output, storage and processing devices. Input Device: These are tools used to enter data into the computer. They include the mouse keyboard scanner and microphone. Output Device: These are tools used to retrieve information from the computer. They include the monitor multimedia projector and printer. Storage Devices: These are tools used to maintain data or information. Processing Devices: These are tools used to change data into information. The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is responsible for processing data into information.
