When I started touch typing , It was around 40-50 wpm. It was about 6 months from now. I was able to type with an average of 70-75 wpm within 1 weeks. Then I got stuck in there around 1 months. I used to watch videos of Seon Wrona, Chakk, Jashe and others , you name it . The problem was they all were typing like 190wpm's and I tried to do so. I felt so demotivated. Then, I began typing on various other sites like NitroType, TypeRacer . I focused on them, as I focused on typing sentences rather than words I dropped down to 50-60 wpm. I found that my mind was able to read the sentence easily than words and then I began typing more and more . I reached like 85 wpm average on NitroType and for the first time I got my personal record 103 wpm nearly typing whole corona time. Then, I came back to 10ff , to check how I will be able to perform. In surprise , I was able to do average of 100 wpm . And I got 113 wpm . For most of the people in competitive typing community, that's nothing, but for me that was very motivating and encouraging. I had a goal to reach 100wpm and ended up typing average speed of that. What a journey.  What I've learned so  far is, If you are around 50-70 wpm , focus on word you're typing , If you are able to type clean and with space following it, you will be able to reach 80-85 wpm. From then onwards your typing should be like fingers moving on current word and eyes moving to next word. You will easily be able to get 100 wpm trust me. This is the best procedure or technique that have able to pull out from my experience. It's all about building muscle memory to type the words. Be water my friend as bruce lee said . You will feel your fingers moving like waters. Keep grinding and best of luck .
