Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a prince with his mother and father, the king and queen. The prince had a weird way of thinking. He thought that he was the greatest man in the kingdom. It wasn't because he mean or rude or anything. It was because his mother and father told him that. You see, the king and queen loved their son so much that they started telling him that he was the strongest, the bravest, the best at everything, in the kingdom. One day the king and queen called their son to the throne room. "Son, " said the king. "You are growing to be the best young man in the kingdom, while I am growing into an old, old man. It is time for you to become king." " And a good king needs a good queen, "said the queen. "And we have just the princess in mind for you." But turns out that princess was, was, was . . . already married. The next princess they chose was engaged. The next was in love with another. The next was dating. One was too young, one was too old. One was too dumb, one was too ugly. The next one refused to marry him. The king and queen got so desperate that they even asked a peasant girl to marry him. Even she said no. One day the still not king made an announcement. "My people, now I know the reason, that no princess wants to marry me. I am a stuck-up, selfish young king. I think that I am the best at everything when I am not really. But I now know that i am not. Now i just want a princess to marry because i am getting lonely. I promise that i will not be rude and stuck-up anymore if i just have a queen." All of a sudden a woman raised her hand. The prince looked at her and immediately fell in love. "I will marry you, "she said, "because now you corrected all of the wrong that you have done." The prince felt so happy. And he kept his promise. After he was made king and he had married the beautiful girl he became the best king in the history of the kingdom.
