Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.-John Lennon, musician, The Beatles. The world is set in motion with seasons. Yes, there will be winters, but spring always follows winter. Winter may be cold, dark, lonely, and long, but spring is just around the corner. If you are in a winter season, keep moving forward. Spring is on the way. New growth. New opportunities.  New excitement. All of these are just around the corner. Take action today to walk towards your future instead of wallowing in your past. You weren't meant to stay where you are now, so start moving. Get off the ground. Wipe the dust off your shoulders and get back in the fight. You have been quietly taking it for far too long. Think back on the difficult circumstances you faced in the past. Did you think it was the end? Did everything turn out ok in the end? This too shall pass. Weather the storm. Let the keel of your boat run deep through the storm with an understanding that you will not only survive, but that you will soon thrive. I'm really trying to keep believing in that. Most days, I feel like I'm losing the battle. And I'm a nauseatingly upbeat human. That is getting beat out of me a little every day. But I am not giving up. Not yet. Life isn't easy and it's not fair. Life doesn't unilaterally and continuously fit into prescribed or predictable forms, based solely on our desires or the desires of others. In literature, a ‘semicolon’ is used when an author chooses to not end a sentence. You are the author and the sentence is your life. You are choosing to continue. None of us are immune from falling into difficult times. That plight is something we all have in common. Another thing we all have in common is the ability to choose how we are going to react to the difficult times when they come. Will we allow them to destroy our hope for the future or will we decide to view them as a learning experience meant to help us as we continue to move forward with hope that the best is yet to come.
