Hello fast and furious typists,
Yes, I know, it's been a long time.
Recently, 10FF has to face an upsurge of cheating (despite the anti-cheat system). And after mature reflection, I decided to drastically change my policy regarding the management of this top.
Therefore, any new claimed record will now have to be certified by a video in order to be validated by myself and to be included in this list.
This video must respect the following points:
- show your screen
- show you logged in to your 10FF account
- reload the test before starting
- show your hands on your keyboard
- have the sound of your keyboard clearly audible (sufficient volume, without noise and without music)
- good video quality (I don't ask for HD, simply an exploitable video)
- no lag of course
- the score obtained must under no circumstances be less than 10 WPM of the claimed record (example: at least 190 WPM to certify a record of 200 WPM)
All this is to confirm the synchronicity between your typing and what is actually happening on your screen, to finally verify that your abilities are real and your record believable. So any video that does not meet all of these criteria will be considered invalid.
Are concerned all records announced after my last update (April 9, 2016). All previous records are maintained. Nevertheless I will later put a mention "to certify" for those of whom I have never received any video.
I'm aware that this change is boring. Unfortunately it seems to me essential now and I think that nowadays, getting a webcam and downloading a freeware is within everyone's reach.
Thank you for your understanding and happy typing!
