Hello Schollie,

Wow ... It looks legit but ... could you please make a video, at least with sound (ideally, with your hands too), at a speed of 173 WPM or higher in Dutch?

This would definitely validate your record.

Hello Linsk, thanks for the quick reply!
I'll gladly make a video. It'll be a good test for me to see how well I perform "under pressure", haha! :)

I'm going to try to record it with my mobile phone and will post it here as soon as I get a decent result.

EDIT: I uploaded a video to Youtube showing me typing 180 WPM in Dutch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3Uo9L9JcDY. I really wish I had a better camera though, the quality is quite bad, but if you watch carefully, you can read my score on the screen. I hope this is good enough to validate my record.

I'm sorry, the sound is ok but it's too unreadable. Can't see clearly the language, what you type or your score. The quality is too bad. So we will wait for a better video. Please refresh the test before starting. Thank you!

That's too bad, but I do understand the importance of sufficient evidence to exclude cheaters in cases of exceptional speeds of 180 WPM and above. This way, we can be certain of the integrity of the results on this forum.

When I get home, I'll use a screen capturing program with audio to record my speed. It won't show my hands, but at least you will be able to clearly see everything on screen. Would that be sufficient proof?

Yes, if the sound, image and sync of both are good enough, it will be sufficient.

Hey Impermanence, thanks, I really appreciate that!

I'm still working on trying to record my screen with audio, but I'll figure it out one of these days and make a better video :D

EDIT: I did it! Here is a 1080p video with audio of me typing 181 WPM in Dutch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTdrukWmLaM
