Spacebar with the Opposing Thumb

I feel that it's a weird idea, but do you think it'd be more efficient to hit the spacebar with the opposing thumb based on the first key of the word. For example, if you're typing the word 'june', then you'd hit the spacebar with your left thumb, but if you type 'fall', then you'd hit the spacebar with your right thumb.

It doesn't much matter what thumb you use. Whichever makes you more comfortable anytime.
