Re: Bad technique when reaching critical speeds
I think it might be the same as what happens to me. My fingers know which letters to hit, it's just that getting the order right can be challenging at high speeds, especially if a finger gets "caught" in an uncomfortable position, or if another finger is slightly trigger happy. It don't th...

Re: Improving Accuracy
I am confused still about the "High Scores" list - as I don't understand what it takes to achieve a high score (they did not type very fast at all). It could be that they typed super lengthy texts? It look's like it's everything (speed, accuracy, text length, character complexity, etc.), ...

Re: Improving Accuracy
I would like to give a technical detailed answer, but I don't know of one. I think that a good deal of the right kind of practice is all that can help. Focus on training your brain, not necessarily your fingers. If you think accurately, your fingers will operate accurately. I find that some of my f...

Improving Accuracy
So, what I want to do is improve my accuracy when it comes to hitting the letters on my keyboard. As I have explained before, I am quite sloppy with my fingers, perhaps because of some physical ailment, perhaps not, but either way, I hope that I can get my fingers to cooperate and hit the keys that ...

Re: Tests too easy?
What 10fastfingers does, at least in the regular typing test, is use 200 of the most common words of whatever language you're typing in. They are mostly very common words that you type all the time, hence the increase in speed. The advanced typing test, on the other hand, includes 1000 of the most c...

Re: problem in Korean typing test
What exactly do you mean by that? The words you need to type get repeated in the test? The words that you have typed stay in the input box when you hit space? Every time you try to start the test again, the text stays exactly the same? Also, which test are you taking? The "Top 1000" test r...

Re: Typing tips
One of the things that I really need to do is to practice while simply relaxing. I get tense when I'm doing a typing speed test and that isn't helped by the fact that I'm mentally trying to take control of my hands and make them go faster instead of letting them use the muscle memory that they have....

Re: New "practice" mode
Hi guys the freestyle mode was intended to do that, though I have stopped working on it, I will rebuild this mode in the near future So then, will you put it in the new practice mode or fix it and leave it in the freestyle mode? But the freestyle mode is just about deleting keys that we don't wnati...

Re: New "practice" mode
I want to see a feature where we can choose which letters we want to do a test with in each word. For example, I have issues with v,c,p,l, and q. I choose those letters and only words including those letters will appear in the text. If I select only the letter C, then I want only words with the lett...

Re: Is 95 WPM good for a 11 year old?
Yes. Yes, it is. I'm 21 years old, and a professional programmer (that means that I never stop typing) and my average speed on a normal typing day after warming up is about 75 wpm. Considering that the average typing speed of teenagers is about 40-ish, I'd say that your typing speed is pretty good, ...
